Evolution of an Idea

I love how this last design came about. Just to give you a background, the design process is progressive for me. I get a rough idea in my head, start to play with it, and am generally amazed at where it lands. Encircle Me is the perfect example of this.

It started when I bought a lovely pack of suede textures off of SLX. Search "27 Suede Fabric Textures" on SLX if you are interested. I instantly had the idea for a series of suede polkadot chokers. Yes that dates me, but oh well. So I pull a shape out of my handy stock of nano prims, out comes my LoopRez, and I finish the prototype.

In messing around with it to make it more dramatic, I tried gems studded on suede (ok, good), then on black (well isn't that dramatic), then try a few things to make it stand out better (oooh, that worked), then a wander through my gem textures to see what ones looked the best (thanks LFox for your great textures), and then...

Will you look at that, a cool new item that I am quite excited about! And not a bit of suede in sight!



It is hard for me to pick a favorite color, I like all 5 sets so much. This one will have to do. The Champagne Diamonds. Hmmm, you'd never get a set of diamonds this perfectly matched in RL!
